His work originates from physicality, geometry and gesture. The scale of his creations is based on the human being. Aiming at creating a unique journey for everyone, to make each viewer an active part of his work and make him experience primarily dilemmas, fears which usually are supposed to be solved but actually have been accepted and stored within.
Bio
Nikos Stathopoulos born in Zurich of Switzerland , lives and works in Athens. He is a graduate of the Athens School of Fine Arts (ASFA) with faculty supervisors P. Charalambous , J. Skaltsas and M. Manousakis in painting, M. Mpampousis in photography and by N. Tranos in sculpture. Now he works as a Photographer, Designer and runs a ship engine repair unit at Piraeus since 1994
